Scale CalibrationThis system automatically tests and calibrates scales used by the United States Post Office. The computer performs a series of tests to ensure the scale is operating correctly. The mechanism located in the back of the machine then sets brass weights onto the scale. The weights range from 5 lbs. to 100 lbs. and were certified by the National Bureau OF Standards. A total of 6 weights are placed on the scale. The computer downloads new parameters to the scales to ensure their accuracy.
