This manual load/unload system performed an air decay test on cast aluminum automotive parts. An operator places a part into the fixture and uses the manual toggle clamps to secure the part. The operator then presses the “Start” button to initiate the test. The system pressurizes the casting, allows the pressure to stabilize and then monitors the rate of pressure decay. The part is determined to be good or bad based on the results of the test.
