"Lights Out" Loading System

This system loads parts into a CNC lathe (not shown in picture). The lathe performs a turning operation on the parts. The unload mechanism removes the part from the lathe. There is a small machining center built into the unload devise which drills 3 holes in the part and cuts the part to length. Then the part is placed into a basket. The machine holds enough parts for a 10 hour run without human intervention.
