Hydraulic Bulging PressBrass cups are fed down a vibratory track. Tooling then transfers an individual cup into the work area. A four segmented die set closes around the cup, encompassing it. The segments of the die have a pattern ground in them. A hydraulic cylinder drives a high durometer rubber ram into the center of the cup. As the rubber compresses it expands, bulging the cup into the die set. The pattern is set into the cup. |
