Golf Ball Test SystemThis test stand performed 3 tests on golf balls. The balls are fed down a gravity track and land in tooling on an indexing table. They are indexed to the first station and are precisely weighed. They are indexed to the second station and the diameter is measure at 3 points to verify they are round. Then they are indexed to the third station were they are compressed. This station measures deflection under a given force. It also verifies the balls return to their original shape once the force is removed. They are then indexed to an unload station. Balls that pass all of the tests are accumulated in the discharge track. Balls that fail a test are sent down a reject track and fall into a bin. A PC collects and records all data. |
